Description:
This trap is designed and constructed for trapping small size snake in mind. Each trap consist of
- 1 x Snake glue box
- 2 x Snakey glue boards.
(You may require additional/replacement Snakey Glue boards for additional capture of snakes)
Features: EN-1027 is constructed out of sturdy hollow core plastic board to allow snake entry from either end. Snakey glue boards are inserted into Snake glue box for trapping snakes.
Snakey glue boards are constructed with plywood and covered with powerful slow drying adhesive, No matter how the snake struggles, it just can't free itself from the trap unlike those made from plastic.
Ideal places to set the trap should be along a fence, a wall, sides of a pond or stream, against a structure like a house or shed which can channel snakes into the trap.
Releasing Snakes in Glue Traps
You don’t have to kill the snakes as not all are poisonous or dangerous. You can easily and safely relocate it to the wild again. Locate a natural habitat that is far away from human population. Place the snake glue trap on the ground and open the flaps. Use cooking spray or pour any cooking oil on the snake, which is stuck to the sticky snake glue board. Keep your distance from the snake when it is working itself free as it may bite once released. The snake will work itself free and slither off within minutes. Remaining glue on the skin will be shed off when the snake shed its skin. You can then rinse off and re-use the trap.
Note: After setting the trap, it is important to check the trap daily for any trapped creatures. Always provide food, water, and shelter for any creatures held in captivity.
