Description:
EMIT APOSTLE (BOTANICAL) INSECT REPELLENT

EMIT APOSTLE INSECT REPELLENT utilizes sustainably harvested oil of lemon eucalyptus, a recommended natural plant-based repellent against mosquitoes, flies, and sandflies.

The active ingredient is derived from the oil of the Eucalyptus citriodora tree, also known as lemon-scented gum, that undergoes a simple conversion process to enhance its effectiveness.

This conversion accelerates the natural maturation of the citriodora leaf and yields Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus (OLE), scientifically proven to be as effective as leading synthetic products and superior to other natural repellents.

The efficacy has been tested in a renowned entomology laboratory and received accreditation for long-lasting repellency (lasting over 6 hours).

Most importantly, OLE has been deemed safe for children, pregnant, and breastfeeding women when used according to the label and accompanying instructions. (It is recommended to test the spray on an inconspicuous area before applying)

Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus (OLE) active ingredient is derived from the leaves of the lemon eucalyptus citriodora tree - the only nature-based ingredient recommended by the United States Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for use against Dengue, Zika, and Chikungunya.

HOW DOES IT WORK

Experts have found that the key repellent ingredient in oil of lemon eucalyptus (OLE) is a chemical called p-Menthane-3,8-diol (PMD). This chemical was first discovered by U.S. scientists in the 1990s after discovering that a Chinese insect repellent, Quwenling, containing PMD was more effective than other plant-based repellents. Furthermore, research has shown that insect repellents containing OLE are equally as successful and enduring as DEET-based ones, with more than 35 studies conducted globally.
